What is the communication between the LoRa terminal and the gateway?

The communication between the LoRa terminal and the gateway is done on the basis of different frequencies and data rates, the choice of data rate being a trade-off between transmission distance and message latency.

Thanks to the spread spectrum technology, communications at different transmission rates do not interfere with each other and a “virtualized” set of frequency bands is created to increase the gateway capacity.
