What is ISM 433 MHz?

The ISM bands are the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) bands. Generally speaking, there are a number of radio frequency bands reserved in various countries around the world for industrial, scientific, and microwave medical applications.

These bands do not require a license, but only a certain transmit power (usually less than 1W) and no interference with other bands.

The ISM 433 MHz is a 433 MHz frequency band that also works for the ISM application. The 433 MHz ISM frequency range is accepted in ITU Region 1 but is otherwise not an available ISM band in Australia.
