Description
What is a Low-profile PCB RF 433 Antenna LoRa & ISM Band Antenna?
The Low-profile PCB RF 433 Antenna LoRa & ISM Band Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-PCB-0433-3207-IPEX item is an embedded antenna with a 32x7mm compact PCB size 2dBi gain low profile 433 MHz internal antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc for IoT smart devices.
What are the characteristics of LoRa?
Lora operates mainly in the ISM band, which mainly includes 433MHz, 868MHz, 915MHz, etc.
1. Transmission distance: up to 2-5 Km in towns and cities, up to 15 Km in suburbs.
2. Operating frequency: ISM band, including 433 MHz, 868 MHz, 915 MHz, etc.
3. Capacity: a LoRa gateway can connect thousands and thousands of LoRa nodes.
4. Transmission rate: several hundred to several tens of Kbps, the lower the rate the longer the transmission distance.
5. Modulation: based on spread spectrum technology, a variant of linear modulation spread spectrum, with forward error correction capability.

What is the composition of the LoRa network?
LoRa networks are generally composed of four parts: terminal device, gateway device, web server, and application server.
The terminal device is usually a small module or a terminal device with embedded modules, and the transmission distance of such devices can reach several kilometers, such as utility meters, smoke alarms, pet trackers, logistics locators, etc.
The gateway device is generally used to receive the data sent by the terminal device and concentrate it together for sending, so it is usually called a LoRa concentrator, and the data is concentrated together for centralized sending usually, and it can be divided into LoRa-Ethernet gateway and LoRa-4G gateway according to the network for sending data.
Web servers are generally servers built in the cloud, and these servers are used to process the parameters uploaded by LoRa gateways and nodes and belong to the equipment-side servers.
Application servers are user-oriented servers that convert data and provide it to users.
