The Omni Wifi Antenna 8dBi Fiberglass Antenna CTRF-ANTENNA-OMNI-2450-20300-N is an outdoor 2.4 GHz 8 dBi fiberglass Omni antenna Long range wifi antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc for Wireless Telecommunications.
The High Gain 8dBi Fiberglass WIFI 2.4Ghz ISM Outdoor Omni Fiberglass comes with a 20x300mm fiberglass antenna radome size, N-type connector, Ip67-rated waterproof grade, 8dBi high gain antenna for wifi, Bluetooth, Sigfox, Zigbee applications.
Single-band vs. dual-band WIFI
There will be two kinds of devices using 802.11n at present, those supporting only single-band and those supporting dual-band at the same time.
Because microwave ovens, Bluetooth, cordless phones, etc. work on the 2.4Ghz band, and WiFi cards that support single-band, only support 802.11b/g/n, that is, only support to work on the 2.4Ghz band.
