What is Lora Antenna 868 8dBi?
The Lora Antenna 868 8dBi Fiberglass Antenna style CTRF-ANTENNA-OMNI-0868-20600-N is an Omnidirectional antenna high-gain 868 MHz ISM band fiberglass antenna LoRa external antenna manufactured by C&T RF Antennas Inc designed for ISM, LoRa applications.
The High Gain Lora Antenna 868 8dBi Fiberglass Antenna has a high-gain 8 dBi, N-type male connector, and a 20x600mm fiberglass antenna radome, waterproof & UV-proof functional high-performance for outdoor applications.

How to install and deploy LoRa technology?
1. The gateway is recommended to be installed at a height of about 3 meters.
When installed on the ceiling, the LoRa antenna can face down vertically; when installed on the roof, it is recommended to install it on the outside of the wall (Star Vertical Smart Outdoor Gateway provides various installation methods such as wall-mounting, pole-holding, IP67 protection level) to achieve better signal coverage.
2. The project equipment uses the global standard LoRaWAN protocol.
For the expansion of the project at a later stage, it provides greater convenience without changing the existing system architecture.
3. Long-distance signal coverage.
In a workshop of an electromechanical factory (200*120m in size, only 1 wall of trilaminate in the middle), one indoor gateway can complete the signal coverage.
4. Low power consumption of nodes.
The ultrasonic sensor used in this project is powered by a built-in battery and does not require an external power supply. If the default 10-minute cycle is reported, the built-in battery can work for 3-5 years.
5. Fast signal coverage test.
Using the node equipment of Star Vertical with the built-in NS of the gateway, the reporting period of the node is configured to seconds;
The site can directly use the node equipment for signal testing of the actual points to be deployed, reducing the cost of using signal testers, and the equipment itself is the node equipment using the actual application, and the testing effect is more accurate.
